The dhrystones Regulars.Being a Reg is a about becoming part of a friendly community of gamers dedicated to having a laugh and playing fair. You are no longer a lone mercenary, but part of the great dhrystones community. To get you used to playing on the dhrystones servers we have compiled a short list of hints, tips and rules to help you become the uber-god we all want you to be which are available in the regs forum.
1. Know and obey the server rules. This applies even when you are playing on other servers.
Remember, you are a Reg now, so wear the tag with pride and help uphold the good reputation of the dhrystones Gaming Community.
2. Be welcoming, friendly and respectful to all players
3. Don't swear, flame or be abusive to other players on the server, in chat or over voice. If someone is being abusive inform an admin. Feel free to swear on Ventrilo though.
4. You must never use any Cheats, Hacks, Scripts or exploits on our or any other server even if there rules allow them as it could potentially tarnish our reputation.
6. Do not openly accuse someone of cheating. If you have your suspicions then let an admin know or point the particular player out on teamspeak so that evidence can be gathered.
7. If the teams are uneven do what you can to even them.
8. When you can; do your best to answer questions other players have. Be helpful to people who seem confused or inexperienced.
9. Keep in-game voice-chat to a polite minimum, this should only really be used for tactical purposes. If you want to sing and swear then get on Vent, if you don’t you’re missing half the fun.
10. Try and use Ventrilo, if you can, whenever you play. We really want to hear from you!
